What is Health Screening?

Health screening is a simple, quick and effective way of determining how your body is functioning. Health screening accurately monitors your nutritional levels, hormone balance, energetic health of internal organs, food sensitivities, environmental sensitivities and toxin levels. The results from health screening allow accurate recommendations of remedies and remedial action to promote health and healing.

What health conditions can it help with?

Health screening has been used to help people suffering from a wide range of health conditions including:

  • Autism
  • Arthritis
  • Asthma
  • Conception
  • Candida
  • Dermatitis
  • Digestion
  • Epilepsy
  • Fatigue
  • Headaches
  • Hormones
  • Hyper-activity
  • IBS
  • Menopause
  • ME
  • Migraine
  • Parasites
  • Stress
  • Weight Gain
  • Weight loss

What happens during a Health Screening?

Health screening simply involves sitting in a chair and holding a brass rod connected to a test instrument, in one hand. The practitioner will gently press a small probe onto specific points (known as acupuncture points) on the other hand or foot. The test unit records the body's response at each point. You only feel the sensation of the probe being applied to your skin. A printed report of the results is produced at the end of the test. There is no waiting for results.

How long does Health Screening take?

It will take between one and two hours depending on the screening.

Do I need to give blood?

Absolutely not. The tests are carried out simply by gently applying a probe to test points on your hands or feet - this is all that is involved.

What do the results tell me?

The results are produced immediately as the test is completed. Depending on the test carried out, the results will clearly indicate nutrient deficiencies, hormone imbalances, organ imbalances, food intolerances or toxins present. The therapist will explain the results and make treatment recommendations. You will normally be given a copy of the printed report to take away.

How often will I need to be screened?

Usually it is recommended every two or three months if you are recovering from an ailment and every six to twelve months for a general check up.

Do I need to be ill in order to benefit from health screening?

No. By monitoring your health status any weakness can be found and acted upon before symptoms appear. By ensuring your nutrient levels are balanced and you are avoiding intolerant foods, the body has the best chance of maintaining and promoting health, fitness and well-being.

Is it age dependant?

Anyone of any age can be screened. From young babies to people over 90 years.
