What is Pip Scans?

A PIP scan (poly-contrast interference photography) is a means of gaining more accurate information about the human (or animal) energy field. It comprises of a digital video camera, a computer and a special programme, which makes the scan completely non-invasive (unlike x-rays) and easy to understand.

The technique was developed in 1989 by biologist Harry Oldfield, author of The Dark Side of the Brain and inventor of Electro-Crystal Therapy. It is not the same as an aura camera, commonly seen at exhibitions and is far in advance of Kirlian photography. The PIP scan is mainly used as a diagnostic tool to accompany treatment; it has also been used to assess the efficacy of allopathic, homeopathic and flower remedies, the life force energy of foods and peoples own ability to heal others.

After a PIP scan, treatment is then applied using Electro Crystal Therapy. Electro Crystal Therapy can also be used as a stand-alone technique.

Electro-Crystal Therapy

Developed in 1983 by biologist/physicist/inventor Harry Oldfield, Electro-Crystal Therapy is an effective holistic method of diagnosing and healing, whereby crystals are stimulated by pulsed high frequency electromagnetic waves (not electricity). Blending modern technology with ancient healing knowledge and the natural therapeutic properties of crystals, it is a very safe and gentle form of treatment.
The therapy works by stimulating the natural oscillations of crystals. Crystals are oscillators - meaning that they vibrate when stimulated electromagnetically.

Essentially that is how the quartz crystal microchips in computers and household gadgets work. We have evidence that this effect may be used to promote healing. The crystals may be stimulated with stimulating, calming or balancing frequencies depending on the problem being treated. The pulses range from 1 cycle per second (1 Hertz), which is very calming, to 45,000 pulses per second (45,000Hertz), which is very stimulating. Broadly speaking, stimulating frequencies are used for low energy states such as ME, MS and cancer whilst calming frequencies are used more for pain and inflammation. Conditions such as arthritis need both - calming for the pain and stimulating to re-generate the damaged tissues - on alternate treatments. For a more detailed scientific overview of ECT see their website.
The crystals are contained in glass or flexible silicon electrodes (the flexible electrodes were designed for convenience as they can be comfortably tied around the body) and each electrode contains about 100 small crystals. A headphone set containing crystals in the earset is used for tinnitus and hearing loss.

Patient Responses: Beneficial outcomes do not require faith or positive thinking. We know this because animals respond equally well as humans to this therapy. Many patient testimonials are available reporting dramatic improvement for various conditions. These include: Arthritis, ME, Back & Neck pain, Intestinal Problems, Asthma, Frozen Shoulder, Sports Injuries, Thyroid Disorders, Stress and Tension, Migraine, Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Eye and Visual problems, Tinnitus, Eczema General Low Vitality.

Patients with serious degenerative conditions such as multiple sclerosis, lupus and stroke recovery have also noticed significant improvement. For many conditions there are beneficial changes after one or two sessions. However for serious or long-term health problems, a course of 3-5 treatments is necessary before making any evaluation of the therapy.

Before treatment people are given a PIP scan to evaluate where the problems lie and how severe they are. This is immediately followed with treatment. During the treatment you sit in a comfortable chair, whilst crystal electrodes are placed on the relevant parts of the body, which are then stimulated with the appropriate electromagnetic frequencies, and you simply relax.
