- Bowen Association UK
The Bowen Association was set up in November 1997 at the request of Ossie and Elaine Rentsch, and is the European arm of the Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia. Some of the aims of the association are to: Provide technical and practical support for Bowen therapists and their clients, a practitioner referral service for the general public and specialist workshops, courses and refreshers for practitioners as well as introductory level courses. But also increase awareness of the Bowen Technique to the general public and health professionals, the skills and knowledge of Bowen practitioners and aid in the development of a deeper understanding of the technique through research.

The British Acupuncture Council is the UK's main regulatory body for the practice of acupuncture by over 2500 professionally qualified acupuncturists.
- British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is the largest and broadest body within the sector. Through its work BACP ensures that it meets its remit of public protection whilst also developing and informing its members. Its work with large and small organisations within the sector ranges from advising schools on how to set up a counselling service, assisting the NHS on service provision, working with voluntary agencies and supporting independent practitioners. BACP participates in the development of counselling and psychotherapy at an international level.

The British Autogenic Society is a charitable organisation whose purpose is to promote the use of Autogenic Therapy, maintain adequate professional training standards, and encourage research into AT and its diverse applications across the mind / body spectrum. The Society is a member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), The International Committee for the co-ordination of the clinical application and teaching of Autogenic Training and Therapy (ICAT), the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP), and the European Committee for Advanced Analytic Autogenic Therapy (ECAAT).
- British Chiropractic Association (BCA)
The British Chiropractic Association (BCA), founded in 1925, represents over 50% of UK chiropractors. All BCA chiropractors will have undergone a minimum four-year full-time internationally-accredited degree course and are registered with the General Chiropractic Council, the UK's statutory regulator for the profession. The BCA aim to promote, encourage and maintain high standards of conduct, practice, education and training within the profession in the UK.
